I’m impressed with the collection you’ve assembled in this post – especially the last one taking cues from Hugh.
Hugh’s site is fantastic for being creative, and this post in particular on creativity Ignore everyone which if you haven’t seen it already, is amazing.

Thanks for putting these together Mare

Hi Lance: Watch the videos when you need a break from work (two are from TED.com) :-)

Hi Jay: The Joy Luck Club is one of my favorite books of all time. I have it on my bookshelf and whenever I see it I think of college (that’s when I read it, and then two college friends gave it to me as gifts, so for awhile I had three copies of the book).

Hi Mark: You’re welcome :-)

@Marelisa: I hope you do well on your e-book.

But I will tell you this… I really think you have what it takes to get a book published by a publishing company. Have you ever considered going that route instead?

I viewed all these videos (plus a few more) and they were incredibly interesting. I am a creative person and I am always wanting to now about that part of me and how to exercise it to grow.

As a teacher, I believe like Ken Robinson, that the schools are too concerned with the left side of your brain. The arts are also valuble but usually the first to get sliced in budget cuts. When we have no inventors or innovations, we’ll kick ourselves for not watering the creative garden like we should be.

I hope the weekend was fantastic!
