Alik, owner of the blog “Practice This: Take Your Life for a Test Drive”, wrote a great post in which he applies concepts from the book “The Tipping Point”, by Malcolm Gladwell, to success in blogging. The post is called “Make Your Message Sticky and You Might Tip”. (The post is dated May 28th, but since I just read it this week, it counts as posts that I’ve enjoyed for the week of June 2nd). If you enjoy the subject of “tipping points”, you can then head on over to “Problogger” and read all about “Problogger’s First Tipping Point”.
Over at “Blogging Without a Blog”, Barbara asks us to stop and think about all the people who are finding the support in the “virtual world” that they’re not getting in the “real world” in her post “Blogging – Secretly Affecting Lives” . She reminds us that blogging is an important responsibility and that we should strive to make visitors to our blogs feel welcomed.
Hunter, owner of the blog “Hunter Nuttall.com”, offers lots of useful guidance–and even suggests a free e-book you can download–in his post “Blog Profits Blueprint – Make Money Blogging” .
For something different, Emily wrote a beautiful post called “Frugal Indulgences” over at her blog “Remodeling Your Life”, in which she talks about the small, simple things that make her feel indulged.
If you haven’t read the posts above, I suggest that you visit these blogs now and do so. You’re in for a treat.
